Converting an animation from Poser to another format?
« on: February 09, 2010, 05:57:02 am »

I have Poser 7 and I'm trying to make a 3D animated character for use with C++ and the Dark GDK game engine. Apparently Dark GDK supports .3ds, .x, .dbo, .md2, .md3, and .mdl formats, and of course, Poser doesn't want to export an animation in any of those. (It will export .3ds, but it exports each frame as a separate [I assume non-animated] file.)  Is there a way to take an animation from Poser and convert it to one of the six formats Dark GDK supports? Or an animation program that will let me animate my Poser people and save it in one of those file formats? I'm willing to jump through serious quantities of hoops, but any programs required need to be freeware or very low-cost.
