Arts - I'm just decent at visual arts. I've been a musician since the 3rd grade. I compose songs regularly mostly through MIDI instrument notation. I play the guitar and have performed probably about five or six times at restaurants. I'm a 1st violin in my orquestra with regular concerts (just invited to carnegie hall, but couldn't make it :( ). I also play the piano, harmonica, bass, some accordian, etc...
Programming - I know a little about a lot. I enjoy internet scripting (HTML, DHTML, javascript, PHP, ASP, etc...) and have previously programmed with C/C++ and other languages, but lately prefer simple scripting languages because as far as development goes, they allow me to make more of my limited time. Probably lost every good programming practice in me through that but whatever.
Design - I love writing out designs and stories. Although I almost always program or script my games from scratch, I also hold the belief that game makers allow one to focus more on the design process. (Consequently I feel that a game maker is the best place for developers to start in order to understand the basic breakdown of an idea into a game.)
Experiences in gamedev - I have dozens of partial games due to the fact that I develop for the fun of developing rather than the satisfaction of completion. I have a few finished games of mine (because I don't so much enjoy a team). This summer I will be teaching three classes on computer game creation to young students who show an interest in the field.
